Simple Characters

So I created these with the intention on creating a super simple style of character. They are for an experiment I'm doing at home. Maybe I'll show the results of my experiment after further testing :)

Consider this post to serve as a Proof of Life that I am still breathing! I know I don't post as often as I should and when I do they seem kind of rushed but I have been working a lot. I recently got some new brushes that I've been testing out so hopefully I'll have some sweet stuff to show you soon!

Zombie Run

I did a whole background to this, but I scrapped it. So you get 2 characters on a white background. :)

About to start my new gig! - Angry Birds Star Wars

For the past few months I have been working with Rovio in creating the comics for Angry Birds Star Wars. Well, in 6 days I am moving to Finland to start a fulltime gig with them. I will be signing on as Senior Illustrator and very very excited!

Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014 commercial

So awhile ago Source Advertising asked me to do up storyboards for a commercial. The commercial was for Super Bowl XLVIII. (the romans would be shocked that we still use their silly letter/numbers)
Anyway, it was to celebrate that the Superbowl was to be held in NJ/NY. Being from NJ and living in NY, how could I pass that up?! ... how I ask you!?! ...  Here are the fruits of my labor.

The second thing that someone made from something I made is an awesome render of one of my Dragon Post . It was created by Adan Rodriguez . I think it came out dope!

So i've been trying to push myself into territories I am not comfortable with or push techniques that are new to me. Here is a school done with a photoshop brush that i found. I like it cause of the texture it has and makes the lines feel like chalk. (I never know what to write on these posts!)

I haven't posted in a while. I've been swamped with work but that's a good thing. The coolest thing I'm working on right now is with Oscar nominated (ooh la la) Brown Bag Films in Ireland. I'll post what I'm working on when I get the green light.

Here is some doodle that I worked on tonight. Just trying to get into the swing of drawing something for myself again. Hope you guys dig. 

Kitchen

Just a kitchen I did. I changed up the process on this one. I painted it in black and white and then adjusted all of the color to see if it was a better result. I'm pretty happy with how it came out, but it took longer so if I do it this way again is yet to be seen :-P
